At the Martín Chirino Foundation we have programmed our “Summer Workshops” aimed at families, groups and associations that are interested in learning and getting to know the artist's work in a fun and participatory way. On this occasion we will focus on visiting our temporary exhibition “Tribute to music. “Sound of Matter” as the main axis on which we will develop our workshops, through the observation of the different pieces that we will find in the exhibition. We will explore the relationship between music and the different arts from the points of view of Martín Chirino and different authors who form the exhibition discourse.
Development and procedure of the workshops
At the beginning of each workshop we will take a guided tour of the temporary exhibition “Tribute to Music” where more than 50 works by various authors and techniques are gathered, all related to music and its influence on art. Once the exhibition has been visited, the open-air workshop will be held with different activities that allow us to value cultural heritage, develop creativity and sensitivity towards art, promote respect for nature and other cultures, through experimentation. various techniques and materials. Additionally, every Friday we will take a guided tour of the permanent exhibition of the Castillo de la Luz. We encourage families and groups from different fields and social and professional groups to participate in workshops with a playful nature and in a relaxed atmosphere.
