Forging Winds

The Martín Chirino Art and Thought Foundation commemorates the centenary of the sculptor's birth, next March 1, with the choreographic montage Forjando vientos. An idea by Anatol Yanowsky, at the proposal of the Foundation, in which eight male and female dancers participate, with which the director of the Las Palmas Choreographic Center pays tribute to the master of iron through body language and music. The Foundation has organized two showings of this piece, at 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., to celebrate this day within the framework of the extensive programming planned for 2025 to mark the centenary of Chirino's birth. This piece has been made thanks to the economic collaboration of the Ministry of Culture of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
